Manatee County offers the "Perfect Combination." Ideally situated in the Tampa Bay Region, the county is just south of Tampa and north of Sarasota. It is Florida's closest deep-water port to Mexico and offers an excellent transportation linkage. The total land area of Manatee County is 740 square miles. The approximate elevation is 9-17 feet. The average temperature in January is 61.3 degrees and in August it is 82 degrees. The average annual rainfall is 54.3 inches.
Southwest Florida is a tropical paradise. Warm temperatures, balmy breezes, sunny skies and an occasional shower are the norm.
